- Don't do anything illegal.
- Notwithstanding, it's not our fault if someone does something illegal.
- BountyUp is an escrow agent - we hold funds in trust. BountyUp itself is not a charity.
- The tax consequences of charity bounties are between the collecting charity (whether a 501(c)3 or not), and the individual pledge-makers.
- BountyUp will collect 5% of the total "bank" of any non-charitable bounty upon closing as a transaction fee.
- BountyUp will collect 2.5% of any charity bounty upon closing.
- If a bounty or contract expires without being collected, all funds within that contract or bounty will be returned to the individual pledge-makers.
- BountyUp is not responsible for any fees charged by third-party payment gateway processors, such as PayPal, etc.
- BountyUp will make any and all reasonable efforts to resolve disputes arising from bounties. However, BountyUp accepts no liability for conflicts, disputes, or losses sustained by any parties.
- Play fair.
